Some common symptoms of dehydation

Water is the most vital constituent of the human body. As our body weight comprises of 70% water. So, imagine what will happen if is the levels of water in the body falls, Well in the common language all sort of problems and the doctors term this condition as dehydration. Whether you’re a very physically active individual or a corporate worker, anyone can get dehydrated. But the question that strikes one's mind is how to known whether he or she is dehydrated or not?
Some common signs of dehydration are listed below-

Unnecessary hunger feeling

Most of the time we mistake thirst with hunger and we end up gaining some extra pounds. This happens because the part of the human brain that indicates thirst and hunger is the same area. But it doesn't mean that you should always have fluid, whenever you feeling hunger. Hunger happens gradually but not suddenly. So, if are getting hungry suddenly, this means you are lacking on the body fluids.

Sudden sweet urges

The sudden sweet tooth is the best sign that you are dehydrated. This happens because; the lack of water reduces the liver release of glycogens, required for energy. So the brain sends craving signals and we interpret this sign as the time to have some sweet food. 

Dry skin

This is the best physical sign for dehydration. But many of us will say that we are using a branded SPF cream. But to be honest no moisturizer even the most expensive one can't keep the skin from drying because of dehydration.

Body cramps

Body muscles are composed of about 70% water. So, if you are a physical active, then cramps are the body sign to you that your fluids are on the lower side.

Dry mouth

The salivary glands use water to generate saliva. So, if there is a low supply of water to these glands, then they will produce saliva in much lower quantity, leaving you with a dry mouth.

Less sweating

This is pretty basic concept that if you are dehydrated, your body will sweat will less even on a hot sunny day

Headaches

If the fluids levels in your body have decreased significantly, expect serve headaches. Moreover, when you are dehydrated, your blood pressure decreases, leaving you dizzy.
